Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your main role will be to provide administrative support, maintain financial records, and handle accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately processing invoices for accounts payable.
• Maintaining an organized filing system for financial documents.
• Using the AS/400 - Application System/400 for data entry and account reconciliation.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various administrative tasks.
• Assisting with the entry of month-end Journal Entries into the accounting system.
• Managing incoming and outgoing calls, and directing them to appropriate departments.
• Monitoring and maintaining office supplies inventory.
• Providing customer service by resolving inquiries and issues.
• Assisting Accounting, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Production departments with various administrative tasks.
• Distributing daily incoming and outgoing mail.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using the AS/400 - Application System/400.
• Strong skills in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
• Expertise in accounts payable (AP) procedures and best practices.
• Ability to accurately code invoices for streamlined payment processing.
• Experience in data entry, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• Competency in invoice processing, including verification, approval, and record keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution.
