Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Idaho

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Plans.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff on strategies for supporting students with communication disorders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of your work.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Idaho state license or eligibility for licensure in Idaho.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working as a speech language pathologist in a school setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and other technology tools for remote service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing services that are inclusive and equitable for all students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and schools.
