Shipping Clerk

The shipping clerk will spend the majority of their time organizing newly received product on racks throughout the welding/machining facility, or preparing outbound/completed product to be shipped. The majority of products that they will be moving around are 30 lbs or less and can be lifted and carried; the shipping clerk will use a sit-down forklift to transfer products and pallets in excess of 30 lbs. The shipping clerk will also play an integral part in inventory control by using Microsoft products for tracking purposes. Shift is 8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities- Organize newly received products on racks throughout the welding/machining facility.
- Prepare outbound/completed products for shipment.
- Use a sit-down forklift to transfer products and pallets in excess of 30 lbs.
- Assist in inventory control using Microsoft products.
- Run inventory to ensure that empty locations are correct or full location inventory is correct.
- Inventory experience
- Warehouse management experience
- Ability to work alone
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to lift 60 lbs as needed (rare)
- Sit-down forklift experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheridan, Indiana.
