Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining all machines throughout the plant, including processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, and building maintenance. The role also involves seasonal preparation to ensure safety standards are met. The Maintenance Technician will follow a preventive maintenance schedule provided by supervisors or managers. This position is open due to the implementation of a new line and a shortage of staff on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance on all machines throughout the plant.
  • Focus on processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, and building maintenance.
  • Prepare for seasonal maintenance to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Follow a preventive maintenance schedule provided by supervisors or managers.
  • Be flexible in a union environment.

Why Work Here?

Employees will receive a $2500 bonus after 45 days and another $2500 bonus after 6 months, totaling a $5000 sign-on bonus. Additionally, a full benefits package is provided.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, working from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with a 40-50 hours work week. The work environment is a union setting, and the candidate must be prepared to be flexible.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lawton, Michigan.
