We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented tax professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a nonprofit setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including federal, state, and estate tax compliance. This role calls for a strategic thinker who can understand complex tax regulations and translate them into effective tax strategies for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management and experience in the nonprofit sector.

1. Oversee all tax functions, including planning, compliance, and reporting for federal, state, and estate taxes.
2. Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations.
3. Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax audits.

5. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure timely compliance.

9. Develop and manage a team of tax professionals to achieve departmental goals.
10. Advise management on the tax implications of business strategies and potential acquisitions.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and estate tax laws and regulations.
4. Proven experience in tax planning and compliance.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
