Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs, robotics, and automated equipment. This role involves interfacing with production and engineering personnel to complete maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust programs on robots
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs
  • Read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Perform machine repair and troubleshooting for complex electrical and electronic systems
  • Interface with production and engineering personnel to complete maintenance activities
  • Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and debug PLCs (5, 500, 5000 Control Logix)
  • Maintain and repair automated equipment, including conveyors, robots, and presses
  • Work with Fanuc, Lincoln, and Motoman robotic welders
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-5 years of maintenance experience, specifically in hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and robotic systems
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with Fanuc robotics
  • Must provide own tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience, but candidates with 1-2 years of experience who are eager to learn and have a great attitude will be considered
  • To reach Tech 3 level pay, candidates must be able to adjust programs on Fanuc robotics, troubleshoot PLCs, and read electrical and hydraulic schematics

There are 12 paid holidays and a weekly attendance bonus of $0.50/hour for perfect attendance.

Work Environment

The work environment is a hot, fast-paced environment with additional air conditioning units, but it remains warm during summer months. Current openings are on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Hours for the 2nd shift are 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and hours for the 3rd shift are 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00
