We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week contract starting November 15, 2024. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a retail pharmacy setting, where you'll play a key role in dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, and overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy.

Roles & Responsibilities:- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including SNF prescriptions.
- Counsel patients and/or customers on prescription use, side effects, and interactions.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, ensuring all tasks are pleted in a timely manner.
- Verify billing and oversee clerks and technicians in billing processes to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain proper documentation of controlled substances, inventory, and prescriptions in pliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
- Assist the Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) with onboarding new services to the munity and contribute to the growth and development of the pharmacy.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned, with a focus on patient care and pharmacy operations.
- Current and valid California Pharmacy License is required.
- BS in Pharmacy (Pharm D preferred).
- 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription filling and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent munication skills (both oral and written).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflows.
- passionate, empathetic, and customer-focused.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with PrimeCare (QS1) or similar systems is a plus.
