Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. This role involves handling multiple tasks, prioritizing needs, and expediting tasks upon request. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be expected to have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions and will need to be familiar with numeric data entry. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing needs as necessary
• Expedite tasks upon request to ensure timely completion
• Utilize your Yardi experience to enhance accounting processes
• Apply your solid understanding of Accounting Functions to daily tasks
• Use your strong familiarity with numeric data entry to maintain accurate records
• Leverage your data entry experience to improve efficiency
• Apply your experience with spreadsheets and ERP systems to manage and organize data
• Ensure data entry is accurate and completed in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Experience or familiarity with Numeric Data Entry is preferable.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
