Job Description

Our full-time employees work days, evenings, and weekends as needed at various client sites in the greater Seattle area. Duties include moving, installing, and delivering office furniture. Previous experience installing and/or moving furniture is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Move, install, and deliver office furniture at various client sites.
  • Handle and lift heavy items, occasionally up to 70 pounds with assistance, and move items up to 40 pounds.
  • Operate small hand tools and other special equipment.
  • Perform physical movements such as twisting, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing stairs.
  • Maintain punctuality and motivation throughout the workday.
  • Portray a positive image of self and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Work a varied schedule with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as needed.

Essential Skills
  • Knowledge of office furniture products and procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
  • Proficiency with small hand tools and special equipment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the moving industry.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to job requirements.

Work Environment

This position involves traveling to different office buildings in Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond. Employees are required to wear black attire including closed-toe shoes, black pants, and an all-black t-shirt or polo. An all-black hat or beanie without logos is also required. Polos can be purchased from the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.
