We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller in Fremont, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the utmost accuracy in our financial reporting. This role is a key part of our finance team and will be instrumental in the smooth running of our financial systems and processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Handling accounting and finance operations for clients, including posting journal entries, reconciling bank statements.
  • Responsible for updating fixed asset schedules and preparing annual business and insurance renewals.
  • Conducting monthly review and allocation of income, preparing financial statements, and undertaking ad-hoc analysis and reports.
  • Management of Accounting staff for internal control and reporting.
  • Collaborating with Accounting Managers to develop and update Accounting Procedure Manuals and policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Assisting Senior Accountant with technical aspects of accounting and providing back up for payroll processing.
  • Overseeing year-end audit process for clients and ensuring compliance, including preparing audit year end adjusting journal entries and supplying auditors with required documents.
  • Maintaining professional working relationships with superiors, peers, subordinates and other department managers and personnel.
  • Assisting auditors and managers, attending training and staff meetings, and performing other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting; CPA license is a plus.
  • Requires a minimum of 7 years of progressive Accounting experience and at least 3 years of Managerial experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Candidate must be open to changes, self-motivated, proactive leader with high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, apply practical judgement, and adapt to diverse work environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines on time and maintaining a positive, courteous attitude.
  • Must be a positive team player and a highly motivated self-starter.
