Position Overview
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 5, 2025
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:40 AM - 2:50 PM
Role Details
  • Caseload: Middle School
  • Open Positions: 4
  • Program Focus:
    • Direct support across two self-contained programs within the building:
      • One program for students with social-emotional and sensory needs
      • Another program focused on life skills and communication development
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted, individualized support to students with diverse needs, including social-emotional, sensory, life skills, and communication development.
  • Deliver instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings to best support students.
  • Maintain student progress reports and communicate with parents regularly.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with a strong, multidisciplinary team to optimize student outcomes.
  • Support a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment tailored to each programs focus.
Qualifications
  • Required Certification: Cognitive Impairment (CI) Certification
  • Preferred: Early Intervention (EI) Certifications or candidates working toward required certifications
