Job Description
Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components. Program the lights from engineering specs, troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry, and test products to ensure performance to specifications. Read specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec, perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc., and fix quality issues.
Responsibilities- Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components.
- Program lights according to engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
- Test products to ensure they meet performance specifications.
- Read specifications to ensure trucks are built according to spec.
- Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc.
- Fix quality issues as they arise.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
- Strong attendance record.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to help others.
- Ability and willingness to learn.
- Experience with shop orders, wiring, and blueprints.
- Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
- Understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
- Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns.
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations required for successful job performance.
- Ability to communicate professionally.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50
