Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Steel Fitter (Welder) who can read and interpret steel blueprints and structure prints. This role involves laying out and fitting structural steel for welding, with a focus on marking welding symbols on steel beams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret steel blueprints and structure prints.
• Lay out and fit structural steel for welding.
• Mark welding symbols on steel beams.
• Work with welders to ensure accurate fabrication.

Essential Skills

• Read steel blueprints and structure prints.
• Fit structural steel.
• Previous fabrication experience is a plus.
• Mark welding symbols on steel beams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous fabrication experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work 20-25 hours of overtime.

Work Environment

Work in a shaded but

non-climate-controlled steel fabrication shop. Be prepared for hot conditions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
