Houston, Texas area

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description:

  • Supporting Texas Colon Rectal (Division of Texas Oncology)
  • Records patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
  • Stock exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies.
  • Triage over the phone with patients
  • Work in EMR on Patient Questions and call backs
  • Medical refills
  • Performs administrative duties, typing, filing, faxing, reception.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of back office medical assistant experience (surgery experience or OBGYN)
  • Certification MUST HAVE
  • Bilingual in Spanish PLUS
