Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Prepare tax returns including sales tax returns, rolling stock, ad valorem returns, unclaimed property returns and income tax returns.

  • Prepare sales tax returns and research Sales tax related issues.
  • Prepare rolling stock advalorem returns.
  • Prepare unclaimed property returns.
  • Assist with various government tax audits.
  • Assist with federal, state and local income tax return preparation and quarterly income tax provisions.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • Two years experience preferred (in absence of Graduate degree or CPA).
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong P/C skills including Excel, strong analytical skills, effective written and oral communication skills, self-starter who needs little motivation or direct supervision, ability to plan and organize, high degree of accuracy, detail oriented. Corporate income, franchise tax, sales tax and/or property tax experience a plus.


Pay Range: starting at $62,500
