Job Description

We are a refrigerated truck body manufacturer seeking skilled welders/fabricators to help build trailer bodies from start to finish. As a welder, you will work in various areas such as frame, underbody, body, lift gates, and any other necessary components. All welding tasks will involve MIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on different parts of the trailer including frames, underbodies, bodies, and lift gates.
• Assist in the fabrication and welding of various components as needed.
• Ensure high-quality welds in accordance with company standards.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to perform production welding tasks.
• Strong fabrication skills.
• For Welder A: Experience in MIG welding stainless steel, including overhead welding and both vertical down and vertical up techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work first shift and overtime as needed.
• Flexible schedule: Monday – Thursday 6am-4:30pm, and potentially Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
• Entry-level welders (Welder B) will focus on welding frames and undersides of trailers.
• For Welder A: Primary focus on welding custom stainless steel lift gates.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality. The standard shift is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with potential for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. The dress code requires appropriate safety gear and attire suitable for welding tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
