Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $30 - $33 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Administrator to join our team in the Physical Therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, and will be skilled in patient scheduling, front desk and back office administrative tasks, and effective communication. This role is key in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the clinic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Scheduling: Manage patient appointments for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients, including phone call management, addressing inquiries, and providing information about services.
Administrative Support: Assist with front and back office administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Coordination of Authorizations: Work closely with office staff to coordinate insurance authorizations and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
Payment Processing: Process co-pays and assist with other financial tasks as required.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Office Coordinator and PT Aide to streamline office operations and provide efficient patient care.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a Physical Therapy or healthcare setting.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with patient scheduling and managing phone calls.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of processing co-pays and handling patient information is a plus.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
