Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPLC Maintenance Technician Job Description:
  • Maintain all electrical systems on production equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program or as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  • Maintain equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems.
  • Document all process changes using approved control change procedures.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with adjusting PLC logic
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot systems
  • Experience with multimeter troubleshooting skills to identify voltage issues and shorts
  • Electrical experience with 24V up to 480V systems
  • Experience with AB PLCs, understanding of VFDs, relays, and ladder logic
