Hours: 35 hours per week

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced School Adjustment Counselor to join the team in East Walpole, MA for the second semester. This full-time, on-site position involves providing counseling services to 10 students and supporting their emotional and behavioral development. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Counseling or a related field and a MA DESE license as a School Adjustment Counselor or School Social Worker.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, helping them develop social and emotional skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement support plans for students.
- Work with students to address behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, and overall mental health.
- Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
- Maintain confidential records and documentation of counseling sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Counseling, School Adjustment Counseling, or a related field.
- MA DESE licensure as a School Social Worker or School Adjustment Counselor (required).
- Experience providing counseling in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
