Special Education Teacher | Lackawanna, NY

Special Education Teacher
Employment: Full-Time, Contract
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that align with students unique goals and strengths.
- Work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to enhance each students educational experience.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments as needed to promote consistent growth.
- Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid New York State Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
