Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Software Dev Engineer TEST-III in Hanover, Maryland. As a Software Dev Engineer TEST-III, you will be working within a complex manufacturing environment, focusing on manufacturing test development support for PCBA sub-assemblies ICT and functional EOL End-of-line testers.

Responsibilities:
• Foster and promote an inclusive work culture.
• Implement manufacturing test strategies and solutions for robotics applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for test procedures, specifications, and acceptance criteria for new and current products.
• Guide the design and implementation of automated test solutions, including electrical interfaces, test adapters, and software.
• Suggest design modifications to enhance product manufacturability and testability.
• Control test equipment and devices under test using standard software tools.
• Evaluate and approve electrical Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Provide support for EOL test stations at local contract manufacturers and system integrators.
• Adhere to all safety procedures to promote a safe working environment.
• Travel as required, up to 30%.• Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.
• Ability to design, develop, and debug applications.
• Extensive knowledge of computer systems, including Windows OS and Linux.
• Familiarity with networking and wireless technologies.
• Experience in software development and testing.
• Understanding of office functions and operations.
• Ability to follow and implement safety guidelines in the workplace.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience in supervising production processes.
• Ability to travel as needed for the role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and quality control measures.
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Linux technologies and shell scripting.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
