Position: Test & Repair Technician

Location: Rohnert Park

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate & Innovate: Assess electronic components in our production process and final products, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Decode & Troubleshoot: Interpret complex plans, diagrams, and blueprints to install and troubleshoot electronic systems, parts, and wiring networks.
  • Document & Detail: Record performance data, document testing methods, and list part specifications to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Collaborate & Enhance: Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to refine repair and diagnostic processes.
  • Diagnose & Repair: Fix issues with circuitry networks, electronic components, and inoperative parts.
  • Maintain & Optimize: Perform scheduled maintenance, ensure equipment calibration, and manage replacements as needed.
  • Communicate & Update: Liaise with customers, team members, engineers, and management to address problems and provide progress updates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Electronics A.S. or Electronics certificate preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with circuit-level theory and component-level troubleshooting in analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
  • Hands-On Experience: Prior electronics manufacturing test and repair experience preferred.
  • Skill Set: Proficiency in soldering, using oscilloscopes, inventory control systems, and strong communication skills.
