HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Access Specialist to fill an opening with a company in Overland Park Kansas 66207. ON SITE role.

Will be onsite a minimum of 90-120 days. Opportunity for remote or hybrid schedule after that time.

Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Specialist:
  • The purpose of this position is to help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need.
  • This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient’s insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product.
  • The Patient Access Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues.

Required Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
  • 1-2 years of experience communicating with healthcare professionals and field support staff
  • Strong accurate data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
  • Experience working with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system; Salesforce CRM experience
  • Experience working in a health care/pharmaceutical industry environment
  • Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ medical condition

Pay Details: $21 to $21 an hour
