Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Post payments with the understanding of the relationship between co-pays, deductibles, allowances and payments to ensure balance is accurate after payments are posted
  • Capture relevant data including payer remark codes to assist with follow up on a denial
  • Verify funds are available in the bank before posting a payment
  • Research questionable/unidentified payments to ensure proper posting
