Job Description

Will perform setup and operation of mostly CNC lathes and some mills. Will check parts for quality using calipers and other precision measuring devices, and will perform some preventative maintenance on machines.

Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple machines at a time
  • Assist in the instruction of setup with operators
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and make adjustments as needed
  • Setup and operation of a variety of machines
  • Read and interpret G & M codes
  • Adjust speeds and feeds for different materials
Essential Skills
  • Experience with CNC lathes and mills
  • Proficiency in CNC setup
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices
  • Knowledge of G & M codes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficient in shop math
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Safety oriented
  • Committed to quality work
  • Experience with Haas, Okuma, Mazak, and Davenports machines
