Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Denton, Texas area

Job Details:

  • On site
  • 37.5 hours a week
  • Elementary caseload

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Valid Texas state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and munication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
  • Provide therapy services to individuals with a variety of speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques
