We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our school munity in Chicago, IL. As a PE Teacher, you will create an engaging and active learning environment, encouraging students to develop physical skills, healthy habits, and an understanding of the importance of lifelong fitness.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective PE programs for K-12 students.
- Teach students the principles of physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
- Create a safe and supportive atmosphere where all students can participate and succeed.
- Develop age-appropriate activities that build motor skills and encourage physical activity.
- Assess student performance and progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with school staff to align PE lessons with broader educational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Valid Illinois teaching certification in Physical Education (Type 10 preferred).
- Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably in a PE role.
- Strong munication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
