We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our school munity in Chicago, IL. As a PE Teacher, you will create an engaging and active learning environment, encouraging students to develop physical skills, healthy habits, and an understanding of the importance of lifelong fitness.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective PE programs for K-12 students.
  • Teach students the principles of physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
  • Create a safe and supportive atmosphere where all students can participate and succeed.
  • Develop age-appropriate activities that build motor skills and encourage physical activity.
  • Assess student performance and progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with school staff to align PE lessons with broader educational goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Valid Illinois teaching certification in Physical Education (Type 10 preferred).
  • Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably in a PE role.
  • Strong munication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A passion for promoting health and wellness.
