Sr. Grants Manager

Sparks Group has teamed with a globally recognized higher education client who is searching for a qualified, motivated and articulate Sr. Grants Manager of Sponsored Projects to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in securing, managing and overseeing crucial funding to support our clients mission and initiatives. Your ability to craft compelling proposals and manage complex grant processes will be key to continued success. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with sponsor requirements and University policies and procedures.
- Review and reconcile expenses on Award Reports for allowability, allocability, reasonableness, necessity, and adherence to budget.
- Monitor key personnel commitments and notify appropriate offices of significant variances. Verify the accuracy of indirect cost recovery calculations.
- Oversee and manage a multimillion-dollar extramural funding portfolio from various sources.
- Conduct spend analysis, forecast spending, and manage financial resources.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial status reports, reconcile and communicate all awards.
- Verify that invoices, including subcontracts, align with budgets and scopes of work.
- Prepare monthly grant reconciliation reports and communicate findings to leadership.
- Serve as a resource to scientific leaders on grant financial matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong finance, accounting, and analytical skills.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, including clinical trial research administration and knowledge of federal regulations (ex. Uniform Guidance 2CFR200, A-110, A-133, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

This job is Fully Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $80,000.00 to $90,000.00
