We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a remote Litigation Attorney, with California experience. This role is particularly suited for individuals with prior experience drafting substantive legal documents and conducting document review in a web-based platform relativity. The successful candidate will be required to conduct legal research, assist in preparing for depositions, and manage case documents. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities


• Conduct comprehensive legal research to aid in case development and strategy.

• Write and draft motions for various cases, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

• Review and analyze second-level documents, extracting pertinent information for case progression.

• Prepare for depositions, including gathering necessary documents and outlining key points of inquiry.

• Manage cases using dedicated software to ensure organized and efficient case progression.

• Utilize your knowledge of environmental law to provide specialized advice and insights.

• Comfortably bill out your time, ensuring all tasks are accounted for and accurately recorded.

• Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and interactions.

• Review and manage legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
• Proficiency in Case Management Software is required
• Demonstrated expertise in Document Management
• Experience in Briefing is a necessity
• A background in Civil Litigation is mandatory
• Knowledge of Environmental Law is desired
• Skills in Document Review are required
• Ability to conduct Legal Research is a must
• Experience in drafting Motions is required
• Proven ability to handle Depositions is necessary
