Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team and oversee complex commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion
• Quality Control and Safety
• Perform quality control duties and ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards
• Enforce job site safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
• Supervise and mentor assistant superintendents and other field personnel
• Collaborate with project managers, coordinators, and other professionals
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and resolve conflicts
• Maintain daily logs of job site activities and progress
• Communicate effectively with project teams regarding RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Identify and resolve construction conflicts and challenges proactively
• Manage job site emergencies and conflicts efficiently

Qualifications:

• MUNICIPAL, K12, HIGHER EDU, REC CENTER, HEALTHCARE, AND/OR LIFE SCIENCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
• 15+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 10 years in a superintendent role4
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex commercial projects simultaneously2
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills13
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction management software34
• OSHA 30-hour certification34
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
