Summary: Seeking an Upholstery Tech II to fabricate, cover, and install aircraft interior components using design specifications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2 years experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools in upholstery and carpet trades.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

  • Proficient with measuring tools and basic math computations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, cover, and install flat panels and curtains based on design/engineering drawings.

  • Work with various materials including fabric, vinyl, leather hides, composites using adhesives, sewing equipment, hardware, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Cut and surge carpets; cover bulkheads; cover/install panels.

  • Fabricate metal parts; fit panels/windows; install cabin head liners, sidewalls, lower side panels.

  • Use material tracking system for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, and work sign-off.



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
