Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Remote School Psychologist to join our team in providing essential psychological services to K-12 students. In this fully remote role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering students' academic, social, and emotional well-being through virtual assessments, counseling, and intervention programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Understand: Dive deep into understanding each students unique psychological and academic needs by conducting thorough evaluations and assessments. You'll use advanced tele-education tools to provide exceptional support, all from the comfort of your home.

  • Tailored Support Plans: Collaborate closely with IEP teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies that cater to each students strengths, challenges, and goals. Youll be instrumental in guiding them toward academic and emotional success.

  • Engaging Virtual Counseling: Deliver impactful, accessible counseling services to students through virtual platforms. From crisis intervention to behavioral strategies, youll empower students to thrive academically and emotionally in a supportive remote setting.

  • Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to ensure students receive the accommodations and support they need. Your expertise will help shape interventions that foster academic growth and emotional resilience.

  • Empower Families and Staff: Provide ongoing training and consultation to school staff and families, equipping them with strategies to support students emotional and behavioral needs. Together, youll create a strong support network for each student.

  • Monitor and Grow: Stay actively engaged with your students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary to help them stay on track for success. Your insights will be vital to their social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Document and Comply: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of psychological assessments, progress notes, and IEP-related paperwork, ensuring compliance with school policies and legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Certification: Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with K-12 students. Experience in remote settings is a plus

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, behavior interventions, and crisis management strategies.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for engaging students and collaborating with school teams remotely.

  • Tech-Savvy: Confidence in using tele-education platforms and digital tools for remote service delivery.
