Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for working from blueprints to fabricate parts from mild steel using hand tools and welding fixtures. This role involves conducting various welds including 1G through 4G, strictly MIG welding, and using a plasma torch to cut materials. You will also build complete units by adding wiring, electrical units, hoses, and hydraulics after fabrication and welding are completed. Training will be provided for these additional tasks.
Responsibilities- Work from blueprints to fabricate parts from mild steel.
- Use hand tools such as drills, sockets, and hand grinders to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Fit, level, and square off pieces using welding fixtures.
- Accurately read a tape measure for fabrication tasks.
- Conduct 1G through 4G welds, including flat, vertical up and down, and overhead welds using MIG welding techniques.
- Use a plasma torch to cut materials.
- Build one complete unit by adding wiring, electrical units, hoses, and hydraulics after fabrication and welding are completed.
- 1-2 years of MIG welding experience.
- Ability to work from blueprints and CAD drawings.
- 1-2+ years of additional mechanic experience.
- Experience with hydraulic work and maintenance.
- Own a basic tool set, welding helmet, and steel-toed boots.
