Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Lenexa, Kansas. The role involves managing full cycle accounts payable operations and handling invoicing tasks within our team.

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle full cycle accounts payable operations
• Process invoices as part of the daily tasks
• Collaborate with the team to manage increased workload
• Make sure all financial data is recorded accurately
• Respond to and resolve any accounts payable related inquiries
• Monitor accounts to identify discrepancies
• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) skills to ensure smooth operations.• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Have a strong understanding and practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Demonstrable experience in processing invoices and payments accurately and within deadlines.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of invoices and payments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
• Sound knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with vendors and internal departments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development in the field of accounting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
