While reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will work in production for our Rigid Paper Container division and will be responsible for working in a safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. As an Operator I you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of production operations and upholding all Product Safety guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Safely operate caulk line seamer, flanger, assemblers, bowl feeders, elevators case packer/erector/sealer, and box stacker equipment.
  • Safely operate hermetic seamer, assembled spout hopper and bowl feeder, waxer and associated elevators.
  • Safely operate the forklift to move raw materials and finished product in/out of the trailer and storage.
  • Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.
  • Responsible to correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Complete all required inspection checks and properly complete forms at the specified frequencies. Submit to supervisor at end of shift. Ensure top quality product.
  • Record box/pallet production. Accurately complete production reports at the end of the shift.
  • Interpret and follow the daily production schedule to enable accurate and efficient production and execution of changeovers.
  • Ensure that the packing area is clean and set-up with the proper materials for the next scheduled operating shift. Responsible for overall housekeeping and appearance of the assigned work areas.
  • Properly handle, sort and/or segregate and contain defective product. Follow all prescribed reject procedures. Responsible for immediately communicating defective production to pertinent operators and supervision.
  • Perform rework of defective cans as assigned.
  • Train co-workers and new hires as needed or directed.
  • Uphold all Product Safety guidelines.
  • Relief other operators for break as assigned.


This position is located in Carrollton, TX.
