Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling, installing, and adjusting aircraft structural parts and system components while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring installations meet requirements.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., auto mechanics, heavy equipment).
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
- Skilled in close tolerance work, including drilling, reaming, and fitting parts.
- Knowledge and use of special tools, fixtures, and jigs.
- Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps and other relevant equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components.
- Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, doors, engines, and associated parts.
- Remove and replace system components; cut and fit lines and hardware for repairs.
- Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations and necessary rework for conformity.
- Install system lines, valves, ducts, and associated hardware to create leak-free systems.
- Use a range of tools and equipment to complete component installations and perform minor structure installations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems for repair facilitation.
- Update and sign required logs and records as needed.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
