School Psychologist (Full-Time)
Location: Lansdale, PA
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay: Starting at $48/hour for fully qualified candidates
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Lansdale, PA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students in either an elementary or secondary school setting, with a caseload of approximately 50 students. The role begins immediately and offers a rewarding opportunity to support students mental health, academic success, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Intervention and Support: Provide individual and group counseling, interventions, and crisis management services to students.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective support plans for students.
- IEP Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Consultation: Offer guidance and consultation to school staff on how to address behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as needed to ensure student progress.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification).
- Experience working in school settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Compensation
- Pay starts at $48/hour for fully qualified candidates, with potential for increases based on experience and performance.
