Job Description

The chosen candidate will work closely with CNC programmers or Production Engineers. They will act as a bridge between Engineers and production operators, handling tasks such as changing out tooling, grinder wheels, and setting up machines for production.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with CNC programmers or Production Engineers.
• Change out tooling and grinder wheels.
• Set up machines for production.

Essential Skills

• Machining experience.
• Knowledge of tooling.
• Ability to change grinding wheels.
• Ability to change spindle tooling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC setup.
• Blueprint reading.
• Experience with CNC machinery, CNC equipment, lathe machines, mills & lathes.
• Tool change and die setting.
• Stamping, grinder, grinding, and grind.

Work Environment

Our facility, less than 10 years old, supports Toyota by manufacturing transmission parts with CNC lathes and mills. We have 100-130 employees across three shifts. Current openings are on the 1st shift (6:30 am-3 pm). Employees must be willing to work 10-15 hours of overtime weekly and every other Saturday. The 2nd shift runs Monday-Friday from 5 pm-1:30 am with a $1 shift differential. The work environment includes production control, machining, finishing, and MRO departments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
