Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Theater Manager to lead operations at a luxury theater venue in Fort Lee, NJ. This role combines expertise in food and beverage service with operational management to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Theater Manager will oversee all aspects of theater operations, ensuring smooth performance, staff excellence, and optimal profitability while maintaining a premium entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily theater and food service operations, ensuring seamless integration of entertainment and dining experiences.
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and ambiance in all areas, including auditoriums, lobby, and kitchen facilities.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate supply orders, and minimize waste.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to uphold excellent customer service and operational standards.
- Schedule employees effectively to balance operational needs with labor costs.
- Foster a collaborative team culture and maintain open communication with all team members.
3. Food and Beverage Oversight:
- Ensure the quality and presentation of food and beverages meet or exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to introduce innovative menu options.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
4. Guest Experience:
- Deliver exceptional guest service by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and creating memorable experiences.
- Implement strategies to enhance ticket and food sales through upselling and promotions.
- Regularly review guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Financial and Administrative Management:
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for increased revenue and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Enforce compliance with all local regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or entertainment industries.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Experience managing high-volume food service operations, including inventory, scheduling, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a guest-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with luxury or premium service environments.
- Experience with event programming or hosting special engagements.
