Billing Clerk

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Billing Clerk, with experience within the Automotive industry, who is detail oriented and driven for success. This role involves handling all aspects of automotive billing, largely focusing on breaking down contracts and preparing the deal package for financial institution delivery.

The successful candidate will coordinate closely with our Finance and Sales Management teams. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment to meet deadlines are a must for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper billing of all vehicles sold, including calculating profits, setting up receivables/liabilities, and calculating sales commissions.
• Process contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, ensuring accuracy.
• Research and resolve any discrepancies or problems with the billing process.
• Work on incentive reconciliations.
• Support department productivity goals by managing incoming phone calls, chat, and email correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with accounting associates and the management team.
• Other accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field.
• Background in the automotive industry is required.
• Experience with CDK Software System and Excel is preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment.
• Ability to reconcile journal schedules.
