Position Type: Full-Time, School Year Contract
About the Position:
We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our team in Caldwell, ID. In this role, youll work closely with teachers to support students educational needs, helping to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting students with their academic, social, and behavioral goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom management, lesson plans, and activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to reinforce lessons and aid student comprehension.
- Support students with special needs by implementing IEPs and accommodations.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other transitions to ensure safety.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or Associates degree preferred.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
