Manufacturing Technicians | $20 | Story City, IA

Description:

-Operate electric power tools, including: circular saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters

-Operate pneumatic power tools including: riveting guns, huck guns, drills, grinders, sanders, cut-off grinders, punches, air hammers, rivet clinchers

-Weld aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel

-Operate press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, hydraulic hoists, overhead cranes

Technical Skills Used:

-Use of power and pneumatic tools

-Welding aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel (training provided, you do not need to know how to weld before your first day)

-Ability to add, subtract, and divide

-Reading tape measures

Additional Qualifications:

-No required certifications, education, or experience

-Ability to want to learn how to use hand tools, power tools, weld/fabricate, etc...training provided

Experience Level and More:

-Entry Level

-Non climate controlled working environment

-Safety gear provided which includes hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection

-Work attire requires steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and a minimum of a short sleeve shirt

-50 HOURS PER WEEK 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50
