Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to inform interventions and support.
  • Counseling and Support: Offer individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
  • Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to create effective support strategies.
  • Well-being Promotion: Develop and implement programs to improve mental health awareness and resilience.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and confidential records of student progress and counseling sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Valid School Psychologist Certification/Licensure in Minnesota.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.
  • Education: Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or a related field.
