Assembly / Warehouse Associate
As an Assembly/Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for assembling a wide range of finished products using customer-provided blueprints, specifications, and internally developed SOPs. These products vary from simple handheld items to complex large-scale assemblies and require diverse tools and techniques. Additionally, this role supports the management of finished goods inventory, product packaging, and shipping to customers. A successful candidate will be a team player, eager to enhance their skills and grow within the role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble and package products using fabricated, machined, and purchased components.
- Operate various hand tools, including impact drivers, drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets.
- Ensure work is performed safely and meets quality standards.
- Assist in managing finished goods inventory, utilizing both computer systems and physical controls.
- Package products to ensure safe transport and assist with loading materials onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and rules.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and focus on tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and professionally.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of related experience or training is advantageous.
- Experience with steel, aluminum, or stainless steel materials is beneficial.
- Blueprint reading skills are a plus (training provided if necessary).
- Basic math skills are required.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and kneel with ease.
- Capable of repeatedly lifting/pulling/pushing up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to loud noises.
- Working in an environment with forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.
