We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver exceptional virtual speech and language services to students.

Help diverse students overcome communication challenges and achieve their potential. Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide personalized therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct screenings to identify students needing further evaluation.
  • Train and provide resources to teachers and staff on speech and language development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and create comprehensive educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Stay current with research and developments in speech-language pathology.
  • Advocate for students' communication needs to ensure appropriate services and accommodations.
  • Support communication and language development in students with diverse needs.
  • Offer support and counseling to students and families regarding speech and language disorders.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain certification and licensure.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Nevada Teaching Certification optional
  • Nevada SLP license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
    • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
