Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (higher pay available for strong candidates)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Shift and Schedule:

Train on 1st shift and work daily on the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Use measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify product dimensions.
  • Utilize computer software, especially Excel, to track and report quality data.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team.
  • Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues.
  • Work up to 5-10 hours of overtime weekly, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools and computer software, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
