Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologistthis current school year for a contract position located in the Hobbs, MD area. As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis and will have a generous benefits package made specifically based on your needs. With a strong level of support on staff, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with wonderful colleagues and students.

Location: Hobbs, MD
Start Date: ASAP start throughJune 16th, 2025
Pay: Starting at $46+/hour
Caseload:K-12 - mostly elementary age students with some middle and high school

Position Overview:

  • Evaluation & Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills, and develop personalized therapy plans to address issues such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
  • Skill Enhancement: Utilize targeted therapy techniques to foster improvements in students' communication abilities, enhancing their academic and social success.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to deliver a holistic approach to student development.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress to ensure ongoing evaluation and clear communication of outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Licensure: Valid SLP license in Maryland
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students of various needs is highly valued.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for engaging with students, families, and colleagues.
