Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a highly motivated and strategic IT Business Systems Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading mining operations company
The IT Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business functions, end users, and IT disciplines to identify and analyze business needs, while driving improvements through ERP technology.
This role is critical in the companyâ?s upcoming ERP reimplementation, making it foundational to the success of enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing both strategic insight and hands-on expertise in ERP implementations.Â
This is a full-time direct hire position based in Coeur D Alene, ID.Â

- Managing the full software deployment life cycle, from analysis and writing specifications to configuration, deployment, testing, and sustaining new implementations.
- Supporting the replacement of in-house developed solutions with commercially supported software (IFS v9, IFS Cloud, etc.).
- Leading business process improvements in ERP systems, focusing on finance, enterprise asset management, procurement, and warehousing.
- Facilitating training and providing post-implementation support to end users for both new and existing applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to oversee ERP implementation projects from start to finish, while supporting smaller-scale projects independently.
- Acting as a liaison between business functions, end users, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring successful alignment with mining operations.
- Developing and executing test plans, including auditable test scripts, to validate system changes.
- Driving data standardization efforts across key business functions, including finance and vendor management.
- 3-5 years of experience configuring, developing, and implementing ERP systems (IFS Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Proven expertise in business process improvements related to finance, asset management, procurement, and warehousing.
