We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Interpreter (SLI) to work full-time for theschool year in Washington. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with a variety ofstudents who have hearing and/or speech impairments, and be able to provide interpreting services in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other forms of communication.

Position: Sign-Language Interpreter Location: Tenino, WA

Exciting opportunity for a Sign-Language Interpreter in Tenino, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign-language interpretation services to facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and others in educational settings.
  • Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and other school-related activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality in all interpretation assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a sign-language interpreter- 4.0 EIPA
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of deaf culture.
  • Experience working as a sign-language interpreter in educational settings preferred.

Position Details:

  • Weekly Pay: Competitive hourly rate- 32.25 Hours/week
  • Caseload: K-12th grade students
  • Onsite only
  • Benefits: Comprehensive packages including Healthcare, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
