Job Description:
Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Washington, North Carolina. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students with special needs, helping them succeed academically and socially by providing tailored support and an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and modify lesson plans to ensure students with disabilities have access to the general education curriculum.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, making adjustments to instruction as necessary to ensure student growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and municate regularly with parents and school staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent munication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
